What Can Be Expected: Each client fills out an intake form which covers: medical history lifestyle stress level painful or problem areas expectations and goals For a full body massage, you will be asked to remove clothing to your level of comfort. Undressing takes place in private - a sheet is provided for draping. The therapist will expose only the part of your body being massaged, ensuring that your modesty is respected at all times. Auto Insurance, Workers Compensation, some Blue Cross, Cigna and select Private Insurances often cover Massage Therapy as a medical service. Medical Massage requires a prescription from your referring physician. OSMG will call to verify insurance coverage. We then provide medical notes for each visit, progress notes for your physician and bill your insurance for you. You are often responsible for a co-pay or coinsurance.
